How to Use

• Select tabs along the top and menu buttons to the left to locate information and links to helpful sites.
• Select the SEARCH tab to query suggested strategies, accommodations, and technology aligned with each activity for any unit found in the Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum.
  • Terms appearing in ALL CAPS within the strategy, accommodation, and technology options are defined in the Glossary of Terms located on the RESOURCES tab.
• An Instructional Decision-Making Cycle with applicable research is located on the RESOURCES tab.
• Feedback regarding use of the Access Guide is encouraged. Please complete the "Access Guide User Survey”.

NOTE: Districts having their own curriculum guides can still use the Access Guide by aligning their activities/lessons with similar units in the Louisiana Comprehensive Curriculum. Using the LCC unit/activity name, the same query process on the LDE site applies. There will not be an exact one-to-one correspondence, but the suggested strategies, accommodations, technology, and product options will provide helpful suggestions.
